Al Qaeda in Saudi Arabia

Al Qaeda in Saudi Arabia was a terrorist group, based in Saudi Arabia.[1] Saudi security officials were able to kill or apprehend some of its members, including Younis Mohammed Ibrahim al-Hayari, who was killed in a shootout on July 3, 2005.

Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula is described as the merger of the rump of Al Qaeda in Saudi Arabia with Al Qaeda in Yemen.[2]
